I created Vintage 76 at the edge of my half-century mark — not because I had all the answers, but because I finally stopped pretending I needed to.
For years, I chased someone else's definition of success. I code-switched. I dimmed my light. I played small to make others comfortable. I built the resume, checked the boxes, and kept moving — but something was missing. Me.
I created Vintage 76 because I know what it's like to feel successful on paper but empty in your soul. To have the career, the credentials, the external validation — and still wake up wondering, "Is this it?"
